Terms of service

These terms apply to your use of RentalDock, a service provided by Debugpoint LLC (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them on behalf of your business.

The service

RentalDock is software for running a vehicle-rental business: fleet, availability, bookings, payments, pickup and return, customer communication and reports. We may improve and change the service over time and will tell you before we remove a feature you rely on.

Trial and subscriptions

New accounts start with a free trial of 30 days. After the trial you choose a paid plan to keep using the service. Plans are priced per month according to the number of vehicles, staff users and locations, as shown on our pricing page. You can change or cancel your plan from your billing settings.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for your account, your staff’s use of it, the accuracy of your rates and policies, and your own rental agreements with your customers. You must have a lawful basis for the customer information you store in RentalDock and must follow the laws that apply to your rental business.

Payments to you

Card payments from your customers are processed by your own Stripe or Square account under that provider’s terms. We are not a party to those payments and do not hold your funds.

Your data

Your business data belongs to you. We process it to provide the service as described in our privacy notice. You can export your reservations at any time.

Availability and liability

We work to keep RentalDock available and secure but cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, our total liability under these terms is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend accounts that do not pay or that misuse the service, after notice where reasonable.
